Position: Teacher of Mathematics

Salary: Main Scale

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Mathematics teacher to join our excellent Mathematics Department; the vacancy arises from the promotion of the current postholder.

 You will:

  • be an exceptional classroom practitioner
  • care passionately about all students.

All Maths teaching rooms are fully interactive and are located together; the department has access to an additional resources centre with full computer facility.

 

The department will be delivering ‘A’ Level Maths in the near future as a result of the sixth form provision being offered by the school from September 2008; ability to teach Post-16, whilst not essential, would be a distinct advantage.

 

The school is a highly successful, oversubscribed 11-16 Specialist Business and Enterprise School (11-19 from September 2008).  Its excellent reputation is confirmed by the ‘outstanding’ designation by OfSTED in December 2006 and record breaking exam results in the summer of 2007.
