Business Communication

We are a welcoming faculty where our students are at the core of all that we do. Our Courses

At EstonPark, courses in the Business Communications Faculty involve practical activities, problem solving and group work. Pupils are required to make contact with local and national firms and are expected to use their own initiative and develop a professional business-like manner in order to complete research tasks.

The courses we offer are carefully selected and designed to be popular with employers and provide an ideal basis for progression to further study.

  • At Key Stage 3, all pupils study ICT for 1 hour per week. Pupils will also study elements of personal finance and enterprise within these lessons.
  • At Key Stage 4, all pupils study GCSE ICT, GCSE Business and BTEC WorkSkills. Pupils can opt to study BTEC Media and BTEC Health & Social Care.

In the Sixth Form our courses are very popular. For students with mostly grade Cs and above at GCSE we offer:

  •   GCE A level Business
  •   GCE A level ICT
  •   GCE A level Media
  •   OCR Nationals Level 3 Business Single Award or Dual Award
  •   BTEC Level 3 Travel & Tourism Single Award or Dual Award
  •   BTEC Level 3 Health & Social Care Single Award or Dual Award
  •   OCR iMedia Level 3
  •   CACHE Childcare Level 3

 We also offer the following courses at level 2:

  •   OCR Nationals Level 2 Business & ICT (6 GCSEs)
  •   BTEC Level 2 Travel & Tourism (4 GCSEs)
  •   BTEC Level 2 Childcare (4 GCSEs)
