Eston Park School and The Sixth Form Experience pride itself on being at the heart of our community, and as such, we aim to do more than just educate your children between normal school hours.
We aim to support children's learning through various after school clubs and study support groups.
In addition, we also aim to encourage the community to get involved by offering and signposting to Adult education and other activities.
Our Core OfferWe aim to provide access to the following facilities:
We aim to provide a safe and warm environment for young people who come into school early, or stay late after school.
This could be through running breakfast club or study clubs on a morning, or homework or sports clubs after school, and also links in with the Varied Menu of Activities section.
We want to raise our pupils levels of motivation, aspiration and achievement and this can be achieved by involving them in activities such as after school clubs.
These could include:
Not all activities need to be provided on-site. We will Work with other agencies to signpost to provision in the area.

Young people may have barriers to learning purely because of problems at home in the family environment.
Where families are involved in activities such as family learning, sports and adult education, not only do the become more involved in their children's education and embrace new learning opportunities, they also act as positive rold models and encourage their children to learn.
Family fun days, Parents Evenings, Adult Taster Lessons and Parent and Pupil lessons are all exampled of involving parents in their children's education.
Working in conjunction with the Every Child Matters Agenda will enable us liaise with other agencies in ensuring the safety and well being of young people.
Working alongside Health and Social Services, Speech and Language Therapy, Behavioural Support and Counselling Services enables us to provide specialist support and guidance for our students and their families.
We aim to make the school's facilities available where possible to the wider community, and also make people aware of community facilities they can use in the region.
This could involve adult classes - such as Art, ICT, Cooking or Technology - and also use of sports facilities for certain groups or clubs.
We would also work with other agencies to signpost to their provision if facilities are not available on our site.
This would ensure a full and varied range of activities are available to all. Adult learning would also address the regeneration of the area by developing the skills of adults.
