Film Club

Students at Eston Park School are enjoying the excitement, fun and culture of the big screen every Thursday night in Film Club. Run by Miss Carter, students themselves are involved in what is watched and discussed, making sure each and every member has a part to play in what is played. There is a good group friendship and always a fun welcoming atmosphere.

“Film club has become more than just passively viewing a film each week,” Miss Carter said, who runs the club and is known for occasionally providing popcorn! “We watch and enjoy a great variety of film but also discuss and review them, sharing our opinions and ideas.”

Film Club is a place to see the films you want to see, talk about films you’ve watched and meet up with friends old and new. Some of the films played this last term have been Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Despicable Me and Bruce Almighty. Film Club is held in R3 every Thursday 3.05pm – 5.00pm
