Entry Requirements Each qualification has its own entry requirements. The purpose of this is to ensure students choose the right level of qualification to suit their learning abilities. Each individual qualification has its own entry requirement so you will have to check carefully to ensure you meet the strict criteria to access the course. If you are wishing to study A levels in the sixth form then you must have achieved a minimum of 5 A* - C grades, it is also strongly advised that you have a grade A or B in the subjects you may wish to study (this is not mandatory for most subjects). GCSE re-sit Examinations

If you did not achieve a grade C or above in English Language or Mathematics, you will have the opportunity to re-sit these examinations in the sixth form

If you achieved a grade D in any of the two subjects available you will be able to access an immediate re-sit class

If you achieved a grade E or below in these subjects then you will be able to access classes that will prepare you for your re-sit examinations

Sixth formers will be registered twice daily and will assemble for a briefing in the same way that all staff do at least once a week in the sixth form building.
